Policy Associate

Location: Bangalore

We are looking for a Policy Associate to track and interpret developments across AI policy, education regulation, and the digital economy. The role will support leadership with policy insights, regulatory monitoring, and stakeholder engagement relevant to the organization’s work.

Key Responsibilities

Policy Research: Track developments across AI policy, ed-tech regulations, data protection, and digital economy frameworks.

Briefing Notes: Prepare concise policy briefs, research summaries, and leadership notes.

Regulatory Monitoring: Maintain a structured tracker of regulatory and policy developments impacting AI, skilling, and digital platforms.

Stakeholder Mapping: Identify relevant government bodies, think tanks, and industry forums.

Event Support: Assist with policy discussions, roundtables, and external engagements where required.

Internal Insights: Translate policy developments into clear business implications for leadership.

1–3 years of experience in public policy, government relations, think tanks, research, or consulting.

Degree in Public Policy, Law, Economics, Political Science, Public Administration, or related fields.

Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

Ability to simplify complex policy issues into clear, actionable insights.

Interest in AI, technology policy, and the digital economy.

Structured thinkers who enjoy policy research and analysis.

Ability to connect policy developments with real-world business implications.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
