The Role:
We need an Engineering Manager to lead and mentor our young engineering team, guiding product development and fostering a strong engineering culture. This is a hands-on role combining technical expertise with people leadership.
What You'll Do:
Lead & Mentor: Guide and develop junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
Technical Oversight & Delivery: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of our AI tools, ensuring quality, scalability, and timely execution of the product roadmap.
Hands-on Contribution & Collaboration: Actively participate in coding, design discussions, and work closely with product and design teams.
Team Building: Help attract, interview, and onboard new engineering talent.
Who You Are:
Deep into AI: You love experimenting and building with AI/ML and see it has an integral part of the future of work.
Experienced Leader: 5+ years in software development, with 1+ year in an engineering leadership/management role, ideally in a startup.
Technical Expert: Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, modern frontend frameworks, Node.js, Python, Chrome Extension development, and cloud platforms. AI/ML experience is a plus. (Our current stack is mostly JS)
Mentor & Communicator: Passionate about developing engineers, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Growth-Oriented & Hybrid Ready: Adaptable, eager to learn in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable with a hybrid (Bangalore HSR office/remote) work model.
